The NZLA is committed to developing literacy awareness in Pacific Island schools. The NZLA and Scholastic raise awareness and purchase books from funds donated by attendees at NZLA Literacy Conferences / Symposiums. The importance of this is huge with all the much needed funds going to schools in Oceania such as Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and the Cook Islands. 

Even a small amount can go a long way for these tamariki and schools.
